Main applications of this product are plastic coatings (e.g mobile phones) and wood coatings. Before UV curing, the surface of dried films is soft and slightly tacky, whereas after UV-curing, the coatings are hard with high chemical and mechanical resistance. The product is suitable to achieve high gloss coatings. This product has a non-volatile content (1g / 1h / 125°C, convection oven) of 40.0-44.0, a flow time at 23°C, (4 mm cup) of 15.0-50.0, and a pH level of 7.0-8.5. This product is especially suitable for 3C plastic applications e.g. mobile phones and laptops where high performance coatings are required. It is possible to formulate hard high gloss or deep matt clear coats as well as single layer metallic coatings. The resulting coating provides excellent performance meeting the strict requirements of 3C applications. view less

The extremely elongating nature of BR-3741AJ makes it an excellent candidate for consideration in UV light-curable PSAs as a reactive tackifier. It is also used as a co-oligomer for adhesion promotion in coatings. Films formulated with BR-3741AJ are highly flexible, elastomeric, and tacky. This oligomer is an excellent adhesion promoter, and compared to other reactive tackifiers it results in relatively tougher films. It is a perfect choice for optically clear UV pressure-sensitive adhesives (PSAs). view less
