The CR-400 is a handheld chroma meter that is designed for use on a variety of surfaces in many types of applications. It is the successor to the CR-300, making upgrading to the CR-400 easy since data from the CR-300 will transfer. This instrument features an 8mm aperture size and can measure on its own or connect to a data processor. It can store up to 1,000 measurements internally or 2,000 when the data processor is connected.
Evaluation and color calculation formulas can be configured with a user index function. This feature is extremely useful when industry-specific or customized formulas are used instead of the versatile color system and standard evaluation formula (L*a*b*).
