iLENE® M080 is a remarkably pure ε-caprolactone, boasting a purity level exceeding 99%. With a water content of less than 0.05%, an acid value lower than 0.3mgKOH/g, and a viscosity of 6.6 cps/20℃, it's a colorless and transparent liquid renowned for its versatility. iLENE® M080 plays a central role in the production of modified polyester resin and acrylic resin.
These resins enhance coatings across automotive, industrial, and architectural sectors, delivering exceptional durability, gloss, and weather resistance. Hot melts and pressure-sensitive adhesives also benefit from these resins, offering robust adhesion, flexibility, durability and repeated resealing.
In applications spanning polyesters, polyurethanes, and polyamides, they provide excellent strength, stiffness, and longevity. Polyester and acrylic fibers, fortified by these resins, exhibit superior strength, flexibility, and durability, making them ideal for textiles. Other applications include enhancing durability and gloss in ink applications, reducing friction and wear in lubricant applications, and enhancing hold and shine in personal care products.

Find the link to your List page in the user menu.
All Tags have been converted to separate Lists, and your bookmarked items have been saved to a "Bookmarks" List.
When you click the Add to List button, a dropdown of your existing Lists appears. Click the List name to which you want to add this product or formula.
You can also create a new List. Simply click "Create a New List" and enter a name.
When you define a new List, the current item is automatically added to it. You can add a product or formula to as many Lists as you need.
