Vita Catiogel is a natural thickener compatible with cationic agents that increases the natural feel of your hair care. This alternative to carbomers of 100% natural origin is based on a carob tree (Ceratonia Siliqua) seeds cultivated in the Mediterranean area and has a wide pH stability range (4 – 8). Vita Catiogel combines succinic acid and arginine, both obtained by fermentation, and a high molecular weight polysaccharide (specifically a galactomannan) based on refined locust bean gum. This non-ionic hydrocolloid provides high viscosity, and it is ideal for transparent cosmetics. It can be used for rinse-off and leave-on conditioners, shampoos, and styling products. view less

The instant effect on viscosity and easy incorporation of TEQPOLYMER 953 into alkaline cleaner formulations offer savings in valuable production time that cannot be matched by carbomer or cellulosic thickeners, requiring dissolution and elimination of lumps. Working by association, TEQPOLYMER 953 can also thicken solutions containing high levels of surfactants at low pH. JK-303 is stable over a wide pH range and the compatibility level with ethanol is 75%, and 65%with IPA. Unlike benchmark thickeners which have to be put into water before the alcohol is added, JK-303 can be added directly into alcohol-water blend. In addition, it hydrates very quickly which means the processing time is reduced thus saving time and money for formulators. Furthermore, JK-303 is completely compatible with alcohol the resulting mix is very stable, allowing formulators to easily insert extra moisturizing ingredients. view less

Has soothing effects and can be used for skin irritations. Has some antimicrobial properties. Transparent look with minimal whitening effect. Coated zinc oxide is more compatible with acrylate-based thickeners (e.g. carbomer) than non-coated zinc oxide, because it has alkaline properties in formulations and needs therefore less or no neutralizers like TEA or NaOH. view less
